My grandma came from the Highlands of Scotland through Ellis Island when she was barely a teenager.
To me, she was like Snow White. Anywhere we went, animals were drawn to her and I was always in awe. Since forever, anytime I see a hummingbird I think of her. My grandmother was badass, brave, loving, and lively until the night she went to sleep.
And she lives forever with me. (and now on my arm, 03/04/22)
